You missed his point.The standards of today were not the stabdards of behavior when these things happened. Nobody would have considered that sexual encounter to be rape including the women at the time it happened. Just because a 'witness' or even 60 witnesses swears out testimony does not make their testimonies fact/ It is not proof In that time getting loaded, drunk or high and then someone has sex with you does not mean that they raped you even if you realize the next morning that you did not want it to happen You bear your own responsibility for willingly drinking and taking drugs and being so loaded in such a situation. And what makes you think the other person is not also loaded. free sex was one of the themes back then in reaction to the strict morals concerning sexual behavior before that. Cosby was a very famous celebrity. everybody wanted to party with him and even have sex with him. For many that would hve been a badge of honor. Amd many , if not most men will respond accordingly when women are constantly throwing themselves at them. A huge problem in today's society in judging a person for any of his actions or behaviors regardless of the of when it occurred from for a the beginning of time and the prevailing thought of that time by today's standards.You hsve to keep it in context to understand what really happened.. You cannot impose the standars of today onn a different place and time with different stands and think that you see the reaiity .That is also a very important step in truly understanding and knowing history; even if the women believe what they are saying. They are looking back on what happened with a view of today that did not even exist at the time it happened....but i think most of them were bribed or seeking some attention and importance to do these things. If it were so bad they would have reported it then. Decades ;ater in the midst of a media storm and a me too atmosphere is a little suspicious right off the bat. They proved nothing and it was on them to prove what they said. It was not on Cosby to show that it was not true. He had no burden to tell, prove or disprve anything. It is a gross injustice to call him a sexual predator. If you weren't there, you know nothing and that is grounds to be sued for slander. You are becoming part of the mob rule the judge was talking about!
