In 2008, Georgia also had separatists regions who had declared their independence. Georgia did not want to lose the territory so they were fighting the separatists...Russian Peacekeeping Troops finally came in to help the separatist regions --very similar to the situation in Ukraine today.

The US Mainstream media coverage was  also much like the coverage in Ukraine today...full of propaganda...It was not about covering the reality. It was about pushing a narrative. In this clip this 12 year old girl exposes the propanda. They had been telling us how Russia was the bad guys and attacking the civilians....but that is not the story she tells. I am proud of FOxz for leaving this clip up. Back then I thougt the news was actually the news and I had believed their narrative until this girl made me think and do some more research....

 JUST A RANDOM INCONSEQUENTIAL THOUGHT

In this day and age people tend to be overly conscious of their bodies and overly sensitive to any perceived imperfections. It has caused many people  pain and made them insecure.

But did you know that it is much more difficult than you might think to tell people apart when they are naked in a crowd? I learned that many years ago...

     Once, many years ago, I went to a pagan festival in Pennsylvania for 4 days. There was a sign at the gate where you exited the field where we were that said, 'Be sure to put all your clothes on before exiting. We don't want to shock the Amish. They are good people .'

I walked around in shock myself for the first 2 days. You did not have to take your clothes off but most people never wore any clothes while we were there. But the people were easy to get along with. They did not seem to mind the staring that I am sure that I was doing or any of the millions of questions that I had about the things that I saw usually regarding the placement of chains and piercings. The most surprising thing  to me that I learned, though, was just how difficult it is to tell humans apart when they are naked in a crowd of other naked people. 

      I had taken a nap but I knew my friends had gone to the hillside to relax in the sun. So when I woke up I went to find them.   When I came over the  hill what I saw surprised me.  There were about 150 people. Some were laying  in the sun. Some were reading. Some were sitting in circles talking and laughing.  But I did not see individual people. Instead, I was confronted with what looked to me like a sea of flesh.   I was trying to find my friend. and it took me forever. I had to get right up on people and and look at each one. Giving a once over or  just cursory glances did not work.  In a group of naked people all that flesh made everyone look far too similar.  It overwhelmed any of the individual differences that I usually notice whether consciously or subconsciously. It was more like I was looking at a herd of animals than a group of people.

 Alien Smuggling: Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(i) makes it an offense to knowingly bring or attempt to bring into the United States an alien at any place other than an official point of entry to the country, such as a port, airport, or land immigration checkpoint. This crime applies to aliens who are here with permission of the United States as well as those who have entered illegally. Domestic Transporting: Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(ii) makes it a crime for any person, with knowledge or reckless disregard of the alien’s illegal immigrations status, to transport an alien within the United States by any means of transportation. Harboring: Under Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii), it is a crime for any person, with knowledge or reckless disregard of the alien’s illegal immigrations status, to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection an alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation. Encouraging/Inducing Illegal Immigration: It is a crime under Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv) to encourage or induce an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that it will be a violation of law for the alien to do so. Conspiracy/Aiding or Abetting: Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(v) makes it a crime to engage in a conspiracy to commit or aid and abet the commission of any of these crimes. Bringing Aliens to the United States: Under Subsection 1324(a)(2), it is an offense to bring an alien into the United States who has not been authorized to enter or reside in the country. Unlike the crime of alien smuggling, this applies smuggling at immigration checkpoints, and at illegal points of entry.
